Long knit project

For a couple of months I haven't been in a good relationship with the knit and crochet world. If you follow me on Instagram, I'm sure you have noticed it. I was uninspired for a bunch of reasons and I didn't have any idea on when the desire to knit would come back. I started to work with new materials and techniques different from what I had been working for the last years. I worked hard and I opened my new shop, but I wasn't completely satisfied. Then I went to Paris and I don't know why, but in some ways this little trip helped me and It was like I had been recharged. Nothing in particular happened while I was away, but I came back and I was feeling again my usual need to create something with hooks and needles. As you probably saw, I started to work on something new, while I was working I didn't have a specific plan or project, I just wanted to do. And doing so an idea arrived, then another, and now I have something more specific in mind, I know where I want to go now. When I started to write this post, I just wanted to talk to you about my new long project, so maybe it's time I do it. Yes, I'm back in the knit game and I'm loving it so much. I missed to work with my needles and with amazing yarn. I decided to work more on my home collection and with even more attention than before to which materials I'm using. This long project is related to all of these, I started to knit a blanket with some of the many many yarns I have in my home studio and I decided to do it like with crochet granny squares. So if you want to see my progress almost daily just follow me there, or you can see a weekly recap here. [caption id="attachment_3822" align="aligncenter" width="474"]day 4 day 4[/caption]
